About me

Becoming a caregiver at a young age for my disabled mom, my responsibilities sparked a
lifelong passion for helping those who are unable to care for or advocate for themselves.
When asked what career I wanted to pursue, my answer was always the same: "A nurse."
But in 1995, my path took a transformative turn when I began working in both long-term and
short-term care facilities. It was there I discovered my true calling—not just to provide care, but to redefine it!
Determined to change and challenge the stigma surrounding long-term care, I always
envisioned something greater: Residential living where exceptional care is the norm, not the exception. My mission is to create five-star homes that not only meet the community's expectations but to exceed them—care built on a foundation of heart, integrity, and genuine compassion.
With decades of experience under my belt and an unwavering commitment to service with dignity and excellence, Kay's Praying Hands, LLC, is to build a future where quality care is never questioned, and every resident is treated like family!
